Amongst the flora and fauna adorning the overworld of Wuthering Waves, there is a special fungus called Coriolus, which serves as an ascension material for your characters in the game. Although a rather hard-to-find resource, this black fungus is extremely important for Mortefi, Lingyang, and the upcoming Resonator Yinlin, if you want to level them up.

How Do I Get Coriolus In Wuthering Waves?
To get Coriolus you need to head south of Huanglong and search around the regions of the Giant Banyan and Forbidden Forest. You will usually find this black fungus growing on trees or fallen tree stumps on the ground.
Another way to get Coriolus is to visit the Shifang Pharmacy in Jinzhou and buy each for 3000 Shell Credits. Koko will have a total of 15 Coriolus in stock for you to buy and after purchasing all of it; her shop will restock in a few days.
If you want to venture into the wild looking for fungi, you need to head to the best farming spots and collect them all.

Coriolus Farming Locations
The two best spots to look for Coriolus in Huanglong are the Forbidden Forest and the Giant Banyan area on the southern part of the Wuthering Waves map.
Forbidden Forest
Starting from the north Resonance Beacon of Forbidden Forest, just beeline straight to the Resonance Beacon directly south of it, and you will find plenty of Coriolus in the area. Since these fungi are black in color and a bit hard to identify, you can also use your Sensor to scan for all scavengeable resources nearby and follow the bright golden light pinging their location.
Giant Banyan
The north, south, east, and western areas surrounding the Giant Banyan all have Coriolus growing on trees. You just have to spot the Resonance Beacons in each direction and thoroughly search around those areas to collect all the fungus.
Just keep in mind that the area may be toxic if you haven’t completed the “When The Forest Is No Longer Dim” quest. So, just travel to the beacons, search quickly, and travel back to a safe location to not get poisoned.
Also, remember to check the daily server reset time so that you can farm as many Coriolus as you can each day.
Coriolus Uses In Wuthering Waves
Coriolus has two major uses in Wuthering Waves:
- As an ascension material for Mortefi, Lingyang, and the Resonator for the upcoming banner Yinlin.
- As a cooking ingredient for making Morri Pot, it is one of the best recipes for increasing your ATK stats in the game.
