Everyone loves the explosive nature of grenade launchers, but there are only a few in Destiny 2 that are viable enough to use. The Vow of the Disciple raid introduced a whole slew of new weapons, among which also came one of the rare Wave Frame grenade launchers, called the Forbearance.

How To Obtain Forbearance In Destiny 2
The Forbearance drops as a possible reward from the Second Encounter (The Caretaker) and Final Encounter (Rhulk) of the Vow of the Disciple Dungeon in Destiny 2. You will have to do these encounters repeatedly until it drops as there is no guarantee, only a chance.
Only two dungeons are active at any given time in Destiny 2. One is the latest dungeon added to the game and the other is the weekly one. You will have to wait until Vow of the Disciple dungeon comes around in the weekly rotation.
Wave Frame weapons are the best add-clearing weapons. The Forbearance especially has the best traits for add-clearing than most weapons. Its Chain Reaction trait works beautifully as it makes the explosions spread to nearby enemies.

This build is tailor-made for add-clearing and taking out swarms of enemies fast and easily. Quick Launch will ensure those projectiles travel fast and swiftly, paired with High-Velocity Rounds to increase it even further as well as make the reload faster.
Unrelenting as Trait 1 will make sure you stay alive by giving you that health regen buff. Chain Reaction as Trait 2 will trigger more explosions around a 3-meter radius, eliminating more enemies per projectile.
