How Do I Get The Ring Of Protection In Baldur’s Gate 3?
You can get the Ring of Protection from Mol who can be found in the Druid Grove. Mol will hand over the ring after you give her the stolen Sacred Idol for her Steal the Sacred Idol mission. Equipping the ring on your character gives +1 Armour Class and +1 Saving Throw.
Note: The Ring of Protection can be worn by all classes, companions, and races in the game.

How To Complete The Steal The Sacred Idol Quest In Baldur’s Gate 3
To complete the Steal the Sacred Idol quest in Baldur’s Gate 3, you need to first earn Mol’s trust and strike up a conversation with her about the Sacred Idol. After that, you need to confront Kagha about the Druid ritual and put a stop to it to steal the idol.
Finally, when the ritual is put to a halt you can sneakily steal the Idol and hand it over to Mol to get your prized possession a.k.a the Ring of Protection.
Earn Mol’s Trust
One of the best ways to earn Mol’s Trust is to help the Tiefling children you come across in Druid Grove. You can help by:
- Saving Mirkon from the Harpies – Take the left path from the Grove Entrance and go all the way to the Secluded Cove. You will need to fight and defeat the Harpies who have abducted Mirkon.
- Save Arabella from Kagha – Head over to the Druid’s Lair to find Kagha threatening Arabella. You need to convince her to let the child go.
After these tasks are complete you can head on over to the Dragon’s Lair in The Hollow and ask Domi about Mol’s whereabouts. Domi will take you over to the secret hideout and you can meet Mol to start the Sacred Idol mission.
Convince Kagha To Stop Ritual
Before stealing the idol, you can start the “Investigate Kagha” mission to stop the rituals surrounding the Sacred Idol in Baldur’s Gate 3. This will help you get the item more easily and stop the Druids from threatening any of the Tiefling children.
To start Kagha’s Investigation, you need to get inside the Servent’s Quarters area in Druid’s Lair. Inside, you will find Kagha’s locked chest which you need to open to get the Torn Note. The note will point you to a tree in the swamps (Putrid Bog) where you will have to take down several enemies.
After taking care of those pesky Mephits, search the large tree stump to find a crevice hidden behind vines. This crevice will have the evidence to stop Kagha’s evil shenanigans.
Finally, you can confront Kagha and present the evidence to Rath, one of the Shadow Druids. You can either fight the Shadow Druids or persuade Kagha to stop the rituals. Once the deed is done, the one task that remains is to steal the Sacred Idol.
Steal The Idol
To steal the Idol of Silvanus, select a party member that has Fog and Darkness spells or scrolls, and cast it around the area where the Sacred Idol is being kept. Take the Idol and immediately head to camp to prevent any guards from confronting you.
In camp, you can select the Emerald Grove Environs as a fast travel point and head to the area to hand over the Idol.

Give Idol To Mol
Locate Mol in Dragon’s Lair to give her the requested Sacred Idol. Mol will be delighted by your deed and reward you with the Ring of Protection and the task will be complete.
