The first Borderlands 4 Twitch Drop event runs from August 29, 1:00 PM PDT to September 29, 11:59 PM PDT. Watching just 30 minutes of any Borderlands 4 stream in the Twitch Drops program unlocks the “Watch, Drop, and Roll” ECHO-4 Drone Skin cosmetic as a reward. Here’s the whole process broken down into steps:
Head over to your SHiFT account and connect it to the Twitch account you’ll be watching with. This step must be completed before you click the “Claim Reward” button on Twitch, or the reward won’t carry over.
Sign in with your linked Twitch account and look for Borderlands 4 livestreams with Drops enabled. You’ll see a banner above the chat box confirming the campaign and showing how much time you need to watch. In this campaign, half an hour gets you the reward.
When your time is up, Twitch will send a notification at the top of the site telling you that the Drop is ready. Claim it within 24 hours. Once claimed, the item is added to your SHiFT account and will show up in Borderlands 4 on launch day.
