How To Pre-Register For Destiny: Rising

Destiny: Rising is the first-ever mobile experience developed by NetEase studios with support from Bungie. The game will be released on August 28, 2025, and you have the option to pre-register for it. If you pre-register, you will have access to some nice rewards that will help kickstart your journey.

If you’re a fan of the franchise, you have the option to play it on a preferred platform, despite mobile being the recommended option. Keep in mind that Destiny: Rising, despite being a mobile experience, can also be played on PC with the help of Emulators. Thus, you should pre-register even if you’re looking to play on Emulators, since the game will provide a brand-new experience towards the franchise, with new stories and challenges.

Guide To Pre-Register For Destiny: Rising

The first step to pre-registering for Destiny: Rising is opening the website for the game. You can simply type the name of the game on Google, and the first result will be the official website.

Once you’re inside the official website, you’ll notice an option that says Pre-Register Now. You’ll have to click on this option, which will open up a box that you’ll have to fill up to complete the registration. Make sure the information you provide here is correct, as that will dictate whether you receive the rewards or not once the game launches.

As you click on Pre-Register and open the box, the areas you’ll have to fill include your platform (Android or iOS), the region you belong to, and an email ID that is linked to your active Google Play Account. The region section primarily asks you to fill up the country you belong to. Based on what we saw, every country in the world is present in that list, which suggests Destiny: Rising will be launching everywhere.

Once you have filled in all the information, one last box that you’ll have to fill in is your current device. This box exclusively contains names of various mobile phones, since Destiny: Rising is developed for that device. It doesn’t seem this option matters much, as you can always change your phone before the game releases. However, it’s a mandatory area that you must fill up. If your mobile name isn’t available, it means your device can’t run the game, in which case sticking to a PC with emulators will be your best bet.

How Many Players Have Pre-Registered For Destiny: Rising?

A total of 10,112,667 players have pre-registered for Destiny: Rising, and the number will increase until the game launches on August 28. While players are excited for the game, the primary reason behind the pre-registration is the Milestone Rewards. Considering Destiny: Rising is free-to-play, every player can pick up the rewards provided they pre-register.

The developers of Destiny: Rising attached rewards once a certain target number of pre-registrations was reached. The final reward was unlocked at the 10 million milestone, and that number has already been achieved. However, when the game launches, you’ll have to finish Chapter 1-1 of the story before you can access the rewards.

Destiny: Rising Pre-Registration Milestone Rewards

The whole point of Pre-Registering for Destiny: Rising is to get access to certain rewards that will help you in the early game. It’s unknown whether these rewards will be available to those who do not pre-register before the game launches on August 28, 2025. As such, I recommended that you pre-register on time. The milestones, along with the rewards, have been listed in the following table.

MilestoneRewards
500,00020000 Glimmer
1,000,0005x Lumia Leaves
2,000,00020x Legendary Shards
5,000,00010 x Bon Voyage Charm
10,000,000Exotic Ornament

Glimmer is the primary currency in the Destiny universe, and it’s been the same since Destiny 1 launched in 2014. Legendary Shards are used to mostly upgrade weapons and armor, though it’s tough to mention if they will have other uses in Destiny: Rising. The weapon that will use the Exotic Ornament isn’t mentioned, so that’ll become clear on launch. As for Lumia Leaves and Bon Voyage Charm, these are new to Destiny: Rising, and their uses are unknown as of yet.
