Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3 takes you through the Mountain Pass on your journey to find the Githyanki Creche. During this trek, you might stumble across the Rosymorn Monastery. If you manage to find this area, you can complete the Rosymorn Monastery puzzle, which takes a bit of observation skills to solve. How To Complete The Rosymorn Monastery Puzzle In Baldur’s Gate 3
To solve the Rosymorn Monastery Puzzle, you will need to place all four Ceremonial Weapons on their corresponding pedestal. Out of the four, the Ceremonial Sword will already be in place, leaving you to find the other three which are all somewhere inside the Monastery.
You can tell which pedestal requires which weapon by looking at the stained glass floor in the center. The portraits depict the warriors who carried these weapons and they will be holding the weapon that’s meant to go on the pedestal in front of it.
You will need to find these three other Ceremonial weapons to place on the pedestal to solve the Rosymorn Monastry Puzzle:
- Ceremonial Mace
- Ceremonial Warhammer
- Ceremonial Battleaxe

Where To Find Ceremonial Mace
Ceremonial Mace can be found in the storage area below where you find drunken Kobolds. Defeat the Kobolds if you haven’t already, after doing that I found the Ceremonial Mace in the loot of one of the dead Kobolds.
Where To Find Ceremonial Warhammer
You can get the Ceremonial Warhammer by defeating the Guardian of Faith in the east wing of Rosymorn Monastery. You can access this room by breaking the magically locked door or doing what I did which is jumping around the back and jumping in through the broken stained glass.
Where To Find Ceremonial Battleaxe
Ceremonial Battleaxe is lying at the top of Rosymorn Monastery near the giant Eagle guarding the location. You will have to defeat the Eagle and its friends to get this weapon, once you have this and the other weapons, you can now solve the Rosymorn Monestry Puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Head back to the pedestals and look at the stained glass on the floor to match the weapon you place on the pedestal in front of it. When done correctly, the weapons will glow and it will unlock the container which has the Dawnmaster Crest. This crest is crucial to a future quest in BG3, so I recommend having it in your inventory at all times moving forward.
