Sometimes you just want to get rid of a Pal that you captured, maybe because it turned out to have some bad modifiers or you just have much stronger pals now and it’s cluttering your Palbox. Meat Cleaver is just the item that allows you to discard pals by butchering them.

How To Butcher Pals Using Meat Cleaver In Palworld
To Butcher Pals in Palworld, equip the Meat Cleaver as your weapon. Then summon the Pal you want to butcher and select Butcher Pal from the Pal interaction menu. The Pet Pal option in that menu will now instead be Butcher Pal.
This is actually quite useful later on in the game after you accumulate hundreds of Pals in your Palbox and need to get rid of them. The meat cleaver can also be used as a weapon but be careful. Accidentally petting a Pal when you have the meat cleaver in your hand will result in it being butchered instead.

How To Craft Meat Cleaver In Palworld
Meat Cleaver can be unlocked via the Technology tree in Palworld at player Level 12 and then crafted at any Workbench using the following items:
- Ingot x5
- Wood x20
- Stone x5
Wood and Stone are general resources you find everywhere. But to get Ingot, you will need to mine Ore and then use the Smelter to turn them into Ingots. This will also require a Pal with the Kindling Work Suitability at your base.
