When it was released, MultiVersus was not in a perfect state, leading to the developers taking the game offline and returning to the drawing board. Now, it is set to be re-released with major improvements, like a whole new engine, and without the network issues that plagued the earlier version. But is MultiVersus coming out on PS4? Let’s find out.
Will MultiVersus be on PS4?
Yes, MultiVersus is on the PS4, and you can wishlist it right now on the PlayStation Store so that you will be notified when it’s available for download. If you downloaded MultiVersus before April 4, 2023, you will have offline access to the training room (The Lab) and local matches until the launch of the game on May 28, 2024.
The good news is that since the game isn’t very demanding, the PS4 version doesn’t suffer from restrictions like you would usually see. The game also supports crossplay between all platforms, so PS4 players will not be restricted and will be able to play against current-gen and or PC players.

Not only that, but it also features cross-progression, so if anytime you decide to upgrade to a PS5 or move to any other platform, your progress and unlocks can be carried over by using the same account as you did on the PS4.
If you played the game during the MultiVerus Open Beta and bought or earned any content before June 25, 2023, then this content will be carried over and will be available to you on launch. However, any content bought or purchased after that date will not be carried over.
