The Day Before is an upcoming survival horror MMO developed by Fntastic. Being an MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) game, hundreds of players will likely be on the same servers at the same time avoiding the common enemy aka Zombies, while also dealing with each other.
With zombies out to get you and unfriendly players eyeing your loot, the question arises, will each server of The Day Before feature PvP or PvE? Let’s find out!
Is There PvP or PvE In The Day Before?
All servers of The Day Before will feature both PvP and PvE elements in the game. Players will have to find ways to deal with hordes of zombies as well as outwit players who like to mess with others in the server and grief them.
If you think PvP or PvE situations might be difficult for you to face alone, you can squad up with three other teammates to take down any threat in this post-apocalyptic MMO. But, if facing challenges alone is something you excel in, feel free to take on the adventures solo.

The Day Before PvP
PvP means Player vs Player in any MMO game. Since The Day Before promises to be an open-world MMO hosting multiple servers, you will most likely come across players who hunt down others for better loot and experience points in the game.
One way to avoid PvP death is to squad up with friends and have each other’s back, or gear up and be aware of your surroundings if you’re planning to take on the journey alone.
The Day Before PvE
The Day Before will mainly focus on the PvE (Player vs Environment) element of the game. The environment, in this case, is the never-ending number of zombies you might come across during your playthrough.

These zombies might also have various types, forms, and characteristics attached which we can only confirm when the game comes out in early access.
You will need to assign firearms, melee, and other weapons to your character to take on the undead. Since these mobs are attracted to noise, being stealthy while looting and clearing out large areas could be the perfect strat.
Will There Be PvE Only Servers In The Day Before?
Currently, there are no such confirmations on PvE only servers featured in The Day Before. But the game devs might get enough feedback from the players who are not accustomed to the PvP gameplay, and decide to host servers focusing only on the PvE aspect of the game.
We will just have to wait and see how the Early Access launch pans out before we get newer elements in The Day Before.
