Zenless Zone Zero is HoYoverse’s latest venture into the ARPG world, which will see its global release this July. As we know, HoYoverse has given us big-name titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, so ZZZ, which is supposedly playing on the themes of an urban fantasy game, has been on every ARPG lover’s radar.
As the release date draws near, many curious fans are wondering whether Zenless Zone Zero will be a multiplayer game. If you’re also part of the curious bunch, here’s everything you need to know.
Will Zenless Zone Zero Have Multiplayer Co-Op?
Currently, there is no confirmation regarding whether Zenless Zone Zero will have multiplayer co-op or not. However, there is an Arcade in the game that features multiplayer aspects so that random players can compete with each other. However, that is only limited to the Arcade and not the whole Zenless Zone Zero main story gameplay.

According to the players that participated in the game’s CBT (Closed Beta Testing), ZZZ is much more focused on its single-player mode rather than offering a multiplayer experience. However, this decision could very much change after Zenless Zone Zero’s release and as the player base grows.
Unlike Honkai Star Rail, HoYoverse titles: Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd have multiplayer features in the game. Since ZZZ shares similarities to Honkai Impact 3rd, we can only hope that the HoYoverse devs decide to add a special multiplayer mode in the future but that will probably happen after the game’s official release.
