Lies of P features 6 different stats that you can spend your Ergo on, to level them up. Leveling a stat will increase the number associated with it; for example, Vigor increases your number of max stamina points along with other resistances, Vitality increases the number of max health points you have, and so on.

First Priority: Motivity or Technique
Motivity and Technique stats are your two choices for increasing your damage. While you technically can focus on both for a balanced build, this will eventually make you fall short and be weak in the mid to late game.
