In a game like Moonlight Peaks, you will always need materials; they are required for almost everything in the game. When you are first starting, you will need to at least upgrade your tools to farm more easily and faster to craft many of the important items for later in the game. Here in this guide, we will help you pinpoint the location for Gold. Copper, Iron, and Rose Quartz in Moonlight Peaks.
Where to find Gold, Copper, Iron, and Rose Quartz in Moonlight Peaks?

Gold, Iron and Copper are found in the Caves of Echoes; Rose Quartz is located at a Crystal Cave. Here is a table with locations and tools required for the items.
| Material Name | Required Tools and Forms | Location Details |
| Copper | Rusty Pickaxe (Default ) | The best source for Copper is found at the Caves of Echoes, located southwest of Misty Shores. It’s the area that you will unlock after removing the curse from the wooden bridge. |
| Iron | Copper Pickaxe | Same as Copper, Caves of Echoes is the best place to grab Iron, so head over to Caves of Echoes in Misty Shores to start farming the Iron. |
| Gold | Iron Pickaxe. [Also requires: The Mermaid Form] | Gold ores are found around in Caves of Echoes. Now head northeast of the caves to find the spots of water; here you will find the Gold ores. |
| Rose Quartz | Iron Pickaxe | Rose Quartz is found at Crystal Cave in Moonlit Pines. The cave is located just left of Fiona’s House. |
Tip: Before you go out Ore hunting, make sure to have enough space in your inventory to store all the stuff. If you already have your bag filled, the farming or grinding will be slow; I highly recommend upgrading your inventory before putting on your mining hat for ore farming.
- Copper: The appearance of Copper will be similar to common rocks but with orange rocks attached to the top and on the side of the rock, giving a visual distinction compared to the common ones. You will come across small and giant Copper Rock formations inside the cave. A Rusty Axe will be enough to break them into pieces.
Note: The Rusty Axe is the starter axe in the game; it will be enough for the early session, but you need to switch to a different axe as quickly as possible.
- Iron: Again, the appearance of Iron stones will be a tad bit different compared to copper ones; instead of orange rocks, here you will have a bit darker grey, almost silver rocks attached to a common rock. Now, unlike Copper ore, to mine Iron, you will need a copper pickaxe.
- Crafting Details: You must gather Copper Bar x3 + Rusty Pickaxe x1 + 1,000 Coins at Howling Hammer to build a Copper Pickaxe.

- Gold: The best way to gain access to the spot is by heading into the Caves of Echoes via Twilight Catacomb. Once you are in, you will need to search around the small lake, marked on the map. You can’t use a Copper Pickaxe to mine the gold out of the rocks; you will need at least an Iron Pickaxe.
- Crafting Details: Copper Pickaxe x1 + Iron Bar x3 + 4,000 Coins at Howling Hammer to build an Iron Pickaxe.
Tip: After getting the Gold Ores, craft a Gold Pickaxe ASAP for better yield than grinding the Gold Ores with an Iron Pickaxe.
- Rose Quartz: Unlike the Copper, Iron, or Gold, Rose Quartz rocks are distinct in appearance. They are purple-colored, crystal-shaped instead of the stone-like structure we encountered in earlier mining ores. Just use an Iron Pickaxe, and it will be enough to break these rocks to pop out Rose Quartz.
Note: Inside Crystal Cave, you will also find Moon Crystals; they will appear the same as Rose Quartz, but instead of purple, these crystals will be shiny grey.
