Muse Tree is one of the unique trees in Moonlight Peaks that doesn’t follow the rules of a regular tree when it comes to growing out of the ground. We must use an unorthodox way to get the Muse Seed to grow on the ground. Here we will cover how to grow the Muse Tree, where to get the Muse seed, and lastly all bugs & possible fixes for them in Moonlight Peaks.
Growing a Muse Tree in Moonlight Peaks
The only sure way to grow the Muse Tree is by playing music from a Gramophone near the seed plant location. Just buy one and place it near the seed, then all you have to do is wait and see the plant grow easily.
Talk to Ridge at Howling Hammer in the town and buy the Gramophone for 1000 Coins. Once bought, you can take it to the farmland and place it near the Muse Tree planted location. Activate the Gramophone to start playing the music. Once it starts playing the music, the tree will start dancing.
Note: You will find the Gramophone on sale at Howling Hammer in Year 1 & 2. The inventory here is randomly generated, so do check in with the shop every day to track the rotating inventory.
Harvesting Muse Nuts
Muse Tree produces the fruit titled Muse Nuts. If you are having trouble getting the fruit out of the Muse Tree, then you must harvest or take out the fruit while the tree is dancing. While the Muse Nuts will fall into your inventory automatically, you can also shake them to drop the seed.
Bug Alert: Many players have reported not seeing their Muse Tree grow while the Gramophone is activated. If that is happens, then I recommend turning it on and off again.
One thing you should also avoid is placing the Gramophone next to the tree; the tree also needs to have some breathing space to grow. The ideal location for the Gramophone is one space away from the tree, and you must turn it off and on again every night.
One way to ensure the Gramophone is in working condition is if the tree starts dancing by swinging left to right.
Where to get Muse Seeds and what to do with Muse Nuts
Muse Tree can be bought from Luna at Luna’s Seed Stall in Moonlit Pines. The seed here costs 6000 coins and takes around 25 nights to fully grow. Once harvested, it will take 7 nights to regrow. Must Tree will make Muse Nuts; the fruit here only spawns during the Spring and Winter seasons.
Muse Nuts Uses:
- You can make the Muse tree to make the Cheese Platter dish (x1 Cheese, 1x Ghoulembert, 1x Hellfeta, and 1x Muse Nut),
- Use the Muse Nuts at the Mana Table to get 10% Mana Essence.
- The third option is to just sell it to earn coins.
Muse Tree is a bit of an exception, as you don’t need to dig up a place to plant the seed; they can be planted on regular ground. Also, you don’t need to water them to grow; instead, you will be playing the music via a gramophone to make them grow. But do note that the tree only grows during Spring and winter.
