Oni Armaments are new sets of weapons that you unlock in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The last thing you want to do in a game about sword-fighting is miss out on a sword that unlocks a variety of bonuses, from dealing damage to getting more in-game currencies after slaying an enemy. Most of them are found easily as they are part of the story-related route, but some of them are hidden behind the beaten path. Here I will show the location for all seven Oni Armaments found in the game, including the details about their effect and how they help you in combat.
All Oni Armament Locations (Oni Armory Trophy Guide)

The only way to break the achievement is by crossing the point of no return. I highly recommend leaving a save file when you reach the final mission, “The Clash at Rendaino.” Even after completing the final mission, you can still head back and grab all the Oni Armaments to pop the Oni Armory trophy in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. There are seven of these spears throughout the game, each with its own name and location.
| Oni Armaments | Location |
| The Two Celestials | Kiyomizu-dera Temple |
| Oni Bow | Oni Refuge |
| Wind Whipper | During the quest “The Oni’s Apprentice” |
| Earth Shakers | Underground Laboratory |
| Firebird Flute | South of Gojo Street |
| Flashing Void | Mount Oe |
| Still Water | Arashiyama |
Oni Armament #1 | The Two Celestials

This one is story-related, so you will not be able to miss it on the list. Head over to the northeast section of Kiyomizu-dera Temple to find the item inside the chest.
Effect: Once the Oni Power Gauge is filled, press R1 to perform the Two Celestials attack that comes with a special combo that extracts yellow souls from enemies.
Oni Armament #2 | Oni Bow

Just like the last one, Oni Bow Oni Armament is also tied to the story. You will find it in the linear path in Oni Refuge on your route.
Effect: A regular bow that you can use to attack enemies and activate certain objects from a distance. You can charge up your bow shots to deal more damage.
Oni Armament #3 | Wind-Whipper

This one is also tied to the storyline and can’t be missed. You will find it during the quest “The Oni’s Apprentice”. After talking to Takamura, the chest will spawn out of thin air, right in front of you. Just open it, and the loot is yours.
Effect: Once the Oni Power Gauge is full, spin the Wind-Whipper to produce whirlwinds, dealing AOE attack damage. If you do perform it a second time, the whirlwind attack will deal fire damage by igniting the combo.
Oni Armament #4 | Earth-Shakers

This one can be found in the Underground Level 4 section, within the Underground Laboratory. You will get the chest after dealing with the fan puzzle in the next room.
Effect: It’s a pair of hammers made by oni that depletes enemies’ stamina and is very effective against armored enemies. You can further raise the hammer’s damage power by charging it.
Oni Armament #5 | Firebird Flute

This one can be obtained near Eastern Kyoto during or even after the Shadow Fall quest. This one is located all the way south of the map, as marked on the image above, south of Gojo Street- East Spirit Shrine.
Effect: You can summon flaming birds once the Oni Power Gauge is filled up. These summoned birds will leave a burning status on enemies and stagger them.
Oni Armament #6 | Flashing Void

This one is found in the Castle Courtyard in Mount Oe. You must go through a crack between rocks to get to this area and gain access to the chest.
Effect: Once the Oni Power Gauge is filled, strike the enemies with the spear to deal heavy damage. But the best part about it is that once the enemy is slain, they will drop more red souls.
Oni Armament #7 | Still Water

The last one on the list will take us to the Swamp area in Arashiyama. Get to the section marked on the map, and cross the red, foggy, narrow route to spot the chest containing the item inside.
Effect: It transforms the sword to be more deadly; you can blast enemies with a shockwave and extract purple souls. Any sort of parry and attack will fill up the Golden Wave Gauge, boosting the wave range.
