Jormuntide Ignis is the fire elemental form of the Jormuntide, a dragon type Pal known to be very intimidating for its large stature. Although finding and catching this Pal can be quite a risky task, your fire elemental powers will increase tenfold if you’re able to find and ride one.

Where To Find Jormuntide Ignis In Palworld?
The Jormuntide Ignis (Paldeck No. 101B) can be found at the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary, just northwest of the Ruined Fortress City fast travel point. Pals usually have a different spawn location depending on the time of the day, but the Jortmuntide Ignis spawns at the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary during both the day and nighttime.
Tip: When catching Jormuntide Ignis, make sure you weaken it first, lower the health bar, and then throw a Hyper Sphere to catch it. If you’re out of Hyper Spheres, a normal Pal Sphere can also do the trick, but you might need to lower some more of its health before a successful capture.
Jormuntide Ignis Weakness
If you’re planning to weaken the Jormuntide Ignis using your Pals instead of guns, make sure to bring a Water or Ice type Pal. This Fire/Dragon elemental is weak to those types and will not be able to put up much of a fight against them.
Remember to level up your Water or Ice-type Pals before fighting since the Ruined Fortress City area has higher-level Pals.

This Fire Dragon has level 4 Kindling, making it super useful for your base’s cooking and ore making purposes.
The Jormuntide Ignis also has a partner skill called the Stormbringer Lava Dragon. This allows all your Fire Pals to have enhanced fire attacks when you ride this Fire Dragon after taming it. It can be very advantageous if you’re fighting a high-level Pal that has a weakness to fire attacks.

Jormuntide Ignis Drops
Upon killing a Jormuntide Ignis, it drops High Quality Pal Oil and Flame Organ, two useful resources in Palworld. Flame Organ can be used to create a few Technology items including the Improved Furnace, and Flame Cauldron. While the high quality pal oil is useful for Handguns in the game.
If you are unable to find the Jormuntide Ignis in its spawn location, you can always breed one normal Jormuntide with a Blazehowl to get your very own baby Jormuntide Ignis.
