In Probably Stolen, you will encounter vendors who are willing to trade certain items with you. Some of the items you get will be worth a lot if sold to your customers, while other items won’t be of much value. But one particular vendor will try to force you to take their goods and will give you money as well. This offer might be too good to be true if it was an item of value, but you will be handed Radioactive Waste barrels instead.
Unfortunately, Radioactive Waste isn’t a sought-after item, and you will find it sitting in your inventory for days on end. Not only will this take up all your inventory slots, but there won’t be any purpose for it either. You need to quickly find ways to get rid of it, and this is how you can discreetly get rid of Radioactive Waste in Probably Stolen.
How to Get Radioactive Waste

During a normal run, you might encounter the Corporate Waste Manager from Day 3 onwards. He will provide a lucrative offer of handing over 100 credits, provided you take the barrel of Radioactive Waste off his hands. He will either put down three barrels or five barrels, and he will hand over 100 credits per barrel you take. If you encounter him early in the game, I suggest taking up on his offer and collecting all his barrels and money.
Another way you can claim Radioactive Wastes is if you accepted the Makeshift Reactor perk at the start of the game. This offers a more advanced gameplay style, where you can reduce the dependency on station power alone, provided you can regularly maintain it. Failure to maintain the reactor will make it spew out barrels of Radioactive Waste.
You need to keep in mind that one Radioactive Waste barrel will take up 3×4 cell slots in your inventory, which is quite a lot if he has left behind 5 barrels. So, you need to dispose of them quickly, or else you will find yourself unable to stuff in the more important items for sale.

How to Get Rid of Radioactive Waste
Radioactive Waste in Probably Stolen is something that can’t be sold or placed in the vending machine, so you need to find creative ways to get rid of it.
Sell it to Customers Indirectly

One method I could use was to indirectly sell it to the customer by hiding it inside backpacks or containers. This might not always work, as some customers might get a whiff of your antics. It won’t end well if you get caught selling contraband, so use this method of disposal with caution.
Placing it in the Trash Bin

Another method that I liked to use was to stuff the barrels in the trash bin. If you place just the barrels alone in the trash, the janitor won’t pick it up. Hiding it in a backpack or container and then placing it in the bin did help get rid of the barrel, but at the cost of losing the backpack or container for good. Use this as a last resort if you don’t mind losing a backpack or two.
Use the Dumping Ground

A final method to try is to take the barrels to the dumping ground. After ending the day, stuff the barrels into a backpack and exit your store. Select the Dumping Grounds, then place the barrels out of the backpack into the Ground slot.
The second option is to place the backpack filled with barrels directly into the dumping grounds too. I would suggest following through with this second option if you have backpacks to spare, as this will prevent the following interaction from taking place.

A few days later, if you had left the barrels exposed in the dumping grounds, Georgio will bring them back to you. Here is a trick I found that worked to stop him from leaving the barrels at my desk. Once he appears, press the skip option to call in another customer, and Georgio will walk away with the barrels.
In case you had accepted the barrels from Georgio, you can dump them a second time at the dumping grounds. Georgio won’t return with the barrels a second time, so that’s one way to get rid of Radioactive Waste for good.
