Ready Or Not Body Cam Mod: How To Install

The body cam mod for Ready or Not transforms realistic visuals of the tactical first-person shooter into, as you might have guessed, body cam footage. This is one of the most popular mods for Ready or Not which recently had its full 1.0 release.

How To Install The Ready Or Not Body Cam Mod

To install the Ready or Not body cam mod, you’ll need to install Reshade, which is another mod. To install Reshade for Ready or Not, you need to do the following:

1. Head over to the Reshade website and download the latest version.
2. Run Reshade setup once it’s downloaded.
3. Select the “ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe” file once prompted. Its default directory would be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64\ReadyOrNot-Win64-Shipping.exe. If you have installed the game on a different drive, locate it accordingly.
4. Select DirectX 10/11/12
5. Skip when prompted to select a preset.
6. The installation wizard now asks you to select the effect packages you’d like to install. Here you need to click on “Uncheck all”, and then click “Check all” to install all the effect packages.
7. This will download all the shader packages and install Reshade to your Ready or Not installation.

With Reshade installed, you need to do the following to get the body cam mod up and running:

1. You need to head over to the Nexusmods page for the Ready or Not Body Cam Delta preset mod and download the archive.
2. Extract the file using 7Zip or WinRAR.
3. Copy the contents of the “# Files #” folder to the exact same location you selected earlier.
4. Select “Replace the file in the destination” when prompted.

Now, it’s time to go in-game and tweak it further. Follow these steps:

1. Start the game like you normally do from Steam. This would take longer than usual since Reshade will be configuring itself. But fret not, since this is only for the first time.
2. You will see the Reshade overlay at the top of your screen. Press the ‘Home’ key which is the default button to open the Reshade interface.
3. Press “Skip Tutorial” and select the Body Cam Delta preset from the dropdown at the very top.
4. Next, for your own convenience, assign a hotkey to toggle the Reshade effect. You can do it from the Settings tab located at the top of the Reshade interface. It’s the second field from the top.
5. You can close the Reshade interface with the ‘Home’ key now.
