While you explore N’Erud, you will find Astropath’s Respite, home of The Astropath. He is the navigator-seer who guided the Drzyr with his visions of the future. Remnant 2 Astropath’s Respite enemies
The Astropath’s Respite location will start off with you fighting through enemies and making your way to the room where Astropath rests. Along this journey, you will encounter different types of enemies that will try to stop you.
Here is a list of all enemies in this location and how you can fight against them:
- Robot Grunt: A mech that has 2 weak spots on each side of its torso. Ranged attacks are recommended unless it has a shield, use melee to break the shield.
- Strider (Elite enemy): A spherical mech that has a big orange weak spot at the center. Does a lot of rush attacks, so time your dodges right.
- Specter: A phantom that will appear and reappear in different places, focus all attacks on them whenever they appear.
Remnant 2 Astropath’s Respite items
As you fight through these robots and phantoms in Astropath’s Respite, you will also find items like rings and amulets in this location. Here are all the items you can find here:
- Rusted Navigator Pendant: Can be found sitting next to a dead Drzyr along with an audio log. Taking the elevator up from the main big room should lead you to it.
- Seeker Residue: Obtained after defeating The Astropath boss. Can be used to craft the Helix weapon mod with the help of Ava McCabe at Ward 13.

Remnant 2 Astropath’s Respite boss: How to defeat the Astropath
The Astropath is similar to the Specter enemies mentioned above but this one is way stronger and aggressive. This phantom of the Astropath will try everything in its celestial power to stop you. So, here is the strategy you should take for this boss fight in Remnant 2:
- At the start, The Astropath will throw energy balls at you imbued with shock damage while closing his distance to you for the melee attack. You should be able to dodge most of these energy balls on foot as you deal ranged damage.
- When it gets close enough for a melee sweep attack, make sure you dodge backward and create enough distance since the attack covers a big area. Keep trying your best to fight at range as the melee attacks can be deadly.
- After a while of doing this, there will be a phase where The Astropath retreats into a ball in the center hologram. During this, you need to make sure you are standing in places safe from its cutting attacks. Once you deal enough damage, this phase will end with a big energy blast that you need to time perfectly with your dodge.
- There will also be a third phase where The Astropath will split into multiple specters that will attack you with energy balls. You will need to dodge them as you take out all of the specters which will make The Astropath appear again. These phases will keep repeating randomly until they are defeated.
