Let’s find out how you can get your hands on Agnosia Driftwood in Remnant 2 and how you can craft it into a powerful weapon mod after defeating a powerful boss enemy.
How to get Agnosia Driftwood in Remnant 2
To get this unique crafting material, you will have to defeat the Legion boss at The Twisted Chantry location in the Yaesha world. This location is supposed to be a Dungeon rather than a location that always generates due to being tied to the main story.
So, It is possible your playthrough of Yaesha will not have this location and the boss. If so, you will have to complete the Yaesha world at least once which will unlock adventure mode for it. You can then re-roll adventure mode for Yaesha until you get The Twisted Chantry generated for you.
The item you can craft with Agnosia Driftwood is a weapon mod called Fargazer. Simply take the Agnosia Driftwood back to Ava McCabe in Ward 13 and she will help you craft the Fargazer with it. With this weapon mod, you will be able to summon your own eye of Legion that will gaze at any enemy that the player is targeting. For every 0.25s Fargazer focuses on a given enemy within 25m, a stack of Madness status effects is applied to them for 5s. Each stack will deal 3 Damage per second with a max of 10 stacks and this lasts for 30s in total. How to defeat the Legion boss in Remnant 2
Here are some tips to defeat the Legion boss fight in The Twisted Chantry in order to get Agnosia Driftwood in Remnant 2:
- The main thing to know with this fight is to not look at the floating eye of the legion boss directly. The more you look at it, you will keep increasing the amount of Madness status on you. So, try and manage it by shooting it for some time and then looking away in order to let the Madness effect die down a bit.
- Other enemies will constantly spawn in this fight, so keep a lookout for them. Some of these can explode and cause you to lose composure, This can be extremely bad if the timing aligns with Legion’s Pulse attack which needs perfect dodge timing to avoid.
- When the eye of Legion is glowing bright red, this is when you have to shoot it while managing the Madness effect on you. Legion takes the most amount of damage during this state because all your hits on it at this stage will be critical hits.
