A lot of Starfield’s gameplay depends on space travel and wars across the vast universe. This is where the ships in Starfield come into play. From having the perfect set of weaponry, the biggest cargo space, and accommodation for all your crew members – many factors are to be considered before selecting the perfect vessel for your long-distance voyages.

Although Starfield does hand you a perfectly decent ship early game, there are so many more options that could enhance your experience so much better. Here are some of the best ships the game has to offer.

On This Page

  • Razorleaf
  • Wanderwell
  • Star Eagle
  • Conquerer
  • Watchdog II
  • Shieldbreaker
  • Galileo II
  • Wagontrain

Razorleaf

The Razorleaf has a better reactor as compared to your first starter ship. It has a high value and concealed compartments to smuggle contraband to other planets making it one of the best ships you can get early game.

Razorleaf stats:

  • Cargo Capacity – 420
  • Crew – 2
  • Fuel – 140
  • Hull – 469
  • Shield – 390

Cost: Free

Where to Find It: The Razorleaf will be a reward for completing the Starfield Mantis puzzle. While completing the main mission in the Nova Galactic Staryard, you need to eliminate the Spacers and loot their body to get a secret outpost audio log. This will start the Mantis quest line and you will eventually get hold of the Razorleaf ship and tons of new gears and weapons.

Wanderwell

With an A-class Reactor, decent cargo space, and a fully customizable body, the Wanderwell is definitely a worthy contender despite being a free ship. The only downside is the integrated lasers.

Wanderwell stats:

  • Cargo Capacity – 800
  • Crew – 2
  • Fuel – 200
  • Hull – 502
  • Shield – 455

Cost: Free

Where to Find It: Upon choosing the Kid Stuff trait in Starfield, you will get a note from your father explaining his grand prize win which is the Wanderwell ship.

Starfield brings incredible visuals to a sprawling narrative.
