The ginormous world of Starfield has more than 1,000 planets to explore. Some locations in the game however are much more interesting than the others. One such location is the abandoned casino on the space station, Almagest. The casino used to be one of the premier locations where residents would gamble and spend their hard-earned money in hopes of winning more.
The casino is a zero gravity space station orbiting Nesoi, a planet on the Olympus star system. The idea of a casino and the potential to gain credits is undoubtedly exciting. But akin to life, there are no free lunches in the Bethesda RPG. On your crusade, you need to make your way past the Spacers and find the code to hit the jackpot.
Things to keep in mind before trying to search for the Almagest Jackpot Combination:
- The Olympus star system has a recommended player level of 10. So, gear up accordingly.
- Make sure that you arrive at the Almagest well-armed as there will be more than a few Spacers in the zero-G environment inside and they will shoot to kill.
Getting to the Almagest Jackpot location in Starfield
Just like any other star system, Olympus can be found on the Starmap. Open your starmap and ensure that you can view galaxies as opposed to planets or systems. Navigate to Olympus using either your left stick or mouse.
Set course to Almagest, and ensure that you have enough energy in your Grav system (if not, you’d have to hop through a few systems along the way). Once you reach Olympus, set your waypoint to Almagest. Once in proximity, dock the station.
Once docked, board the space station. Explore your surroundings and deal with any and every Spacer you find. Once done, explore the bar area of the casino (the area just after descending from a ledge). In the area right above the main bar will be a control/security room.
Inside will be the Manager’s Computer, interact with it and explore a file called ‘Jackpot Combination’. The code is 12,19,36,5. These are the same for every player.
Once you find the code, finding the terminal is a little tricky. You want to head to the middle floor. Head east and go to the far wall. After that, you will see an enormous vault. Beside it will be a small opening which you can enter. Float inside to find the terminal.
Enter the code mentioned above to claim your winnings. Also, make sure to loot the contraband cache x5 Mech Components and x5 Stolen Artwork. In total, these are worth around 20,000 credits. But don’t fly straight into the cities hoping to cash out as there will be a bounty on your head for smuggling.
You either need a shielded cargo hold in your ship to have a chance to bypass the scans or sell them off to a system that does not scan you (The Den being one that we recommend) and only then head home. For a detailed guide on smuggling, take a look at how to sell contrabands in Starfield.
