What Is The Plot of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League?
As you may know, Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League has players embody one of the Task Force X members. The Squad is tasked by Amanda Waller to, unsurprisingly, kill the Justice League after all the members have been brainwashed by a supervillain called Brainiac. She forces Deadshot, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, and Harley Quinn to do her bidding by implanting tiny bombs in their necks.
As the Squad makes their way to the Hall of Justice in Metropolis, they soon find out that Brainiac is planning on terraforming the entire Earth, starting with Metropolis. They race towards the Hall of Justice and first encounter brainwashed Flash. They escape and come head to head with Wonder Woman, who is the only JL member not affected by Brainiac’s brainwashing.
After going their separate ways, teaming up with more villains in Metropolis, like Penguin, Ivy, Gizmo, and Luthor, the Suicide Squad eventually end up on an alternate version of Earth or Earth-2. They find that planet to have been razed by that universe’s Brainiac, with the sole survivor being another Luthor or Luthor-2. He explains that he has been communicating with Luthor from the Squad’s universe but he died before they could implement their plan.
Luthor-2 transports them back to Earth-1 or the original Earth and starts giving them upgraded weapons (through various missions that I won’t go into much detail about). The Squad eventually manages to take out The Flash and the Green Lantern. They lock horns with Batman and capture him. Batman seems somewhere in between– not completely brainwashed but not completely out of Brainiac’s influence.
Meanwhile, Wonder Woman, who has donned a shield made from Kryptonite, takes on infected Superman. She manages to wound him, only to find that Kryptonite now has no effect on Superman. He kills her in their battle and zooms away. The Squad decides to kill Batman to draw out Superman. Harley Quinn shoots Batman in the head, which prompts Superman to come flying.
This triggers the final stage of the game. After killing all of the JL members, the Squad proceeds to take on the final boss, the Brainiac. Once they defeat him, Luthor-2 explains that a larger plot to destroy the multiverse is underway.
