Shrines have their own value in The Blood of Dawnwalker, and are being used as fast travel points, spending skill points, and more. In Maragir Wealds, you will find a broken shrine with all the key stuff looted from the area. Our goal is simple, which is to restore the shrine to its former glory. In this article, I will detail out the ways to restore the desecrated shrine in the Blood of Dawnwalker.
How to Restore the Desecrated Shrine?

You must recover the item “Maragir Wealds Shrine’s Heart” to be able to bring the shrine to its original state.
You will stumble upon a desecrated Christian shrine near Maragir Wealds, starting the quest “Destroyed Shrines: Maragir Wealds“. After completing the investigation, the next objective is to look for the clues by using Focus Mode. It will point to the small area north of the Destroyed Shrine, as marked on the image above. Once you head north, you will come across a wide investigation zone; use Focus Mode to pinpoint the small enemy camp in the area.
What we are looking for is inside the tent, but the guards are outside. You must defeat all the guards and, lastly, eliminate the boss Vrakhiri Banneret to make the area safe. Before heading inside the tent, loot the corpses of everyone. You will find a lot of junk, but two of the most interesting items you will find are: Reliable Battle Falchion and Second Skin II Manual.
After looting, head inside the tent and loot the big, wide chest in the room; use Focus mode to highlight it. Inside, you will find the Broad Swing Manual, Potent Mending Ointment, and the piece of the puzzle “Maragir Wealds Shrine’s Heart“. Now head back to the destroyed shrine and place the Maragir Wealds Shrine’s Heart to restore it and end the quest: “Destroyed Shrines: Maragir Wealds” along with x100 Experience.
The game doesn’t have any karma system, so if you decide not to restore it, it will not jeopardize any of its seven endings in The Blood of the Dawnwalker.
