The new Talandre expansion in Throne And Liberty introduced us to many new exciting quests, and one of those is Girl and the Red Lutrang. In this quest, you’ll have to help a young girl by proving her innocence. While the mission itself is not that hard, there are a few spots on the map that are hard to find. Here’s a guide to completing the Girl and the Red Lutrang quest in Throne and Liberty.
How To Start Girl And The Red Lutrang Quest
To start the Girl and the Red Lutrang quest, meet Michelle at the Llama Range of Herba Village.
Open the Codex and go to the Exploration Tab. Since this quest is a part of the new Talandre Expansion, you’ll find it listed under the Talandre Quest log. To easily access the quest later, add it to your favorites, and it will appear on your main screen.
You can find Michelle at the edge of the mountain in Herba Village. She will be accompanied by Tomi and Joy, two kids who don’t believe she met a Red Lutrang. Speaking to Michelle will trigger the quest, which involves searching for Silk Clam shells. Once you’ve collected them, you’ll have to drop the shells into the Foot-shaped Lake to summon a Red Lutrang.
Finding The Silk Clam Shells & Foot-Shaped Lake
Once you’ve talked to Michelle, head to Aylmar River or Balmir River to collect some Silk Clam shells. The Aylmar River is towards the left side of Herba Village, so go there first. There will be a light blue star-shaped icon near the river. Go up to it and start digging to collect some Silk Clam shells.
Besides the Aymal River, there are many other locations around Herba Village where you can find spots to gather Silk Clam shells. Keep an eye out for similar light blue, star-shaped icons present throughout the area, as they show where you can dig for the shells.
After you’re done gathering the Silk Clam shells, it’s time to find the Foot-shaped lake where Red Lutrang lives. Teleport to Quietis Demesne and head towards Quietis’s Weapon, which is located to the right of the Demesne. Be cautious while going to the next spot, as the mountains near this area are home to many hostile monsters.
There will be an icon near the middle of the Foot-shaped Lake, where you can scatter all of the Silk Clam shells you’ve collected.
Speaking to the Red Lutrang
Once you’ve placed the shells in the Foot-shaped lake, the Red Lutrang will appear at the spot where the shells were placed. Approach the Lutrang and interact with it. It will then give you a fish that you’ll have to investigate. Be sure to take the fish with you as you head back to complete the next part of the quest.
After picking up the fish, head back to Herba Village and find Michelle at the same spot where you first met her. Give her the Fish that the Red Lutrang dropped. Doing so will end the quest.
Completing the Girl and the Red Lutrang Quest will reward you with multiple Special Resistance Medals. These medals can be used to craft stronger armor, giving you better movement and power in both PvP and PvE combat.
