XDefiant has proved how much fun an arcade first-person arena shooter can be without SBMM. While bad-skill players might suffer due to it, most decently skilled players can go on big killing streaks without having to sweat. But even after getting high amounts of kills in a game, the weapons seem to level up quite slowly. The recent double XP weekend helped with that, but when is the next one? Let’s find out.
When will The Next XDefiant Double XP Weekend Happen?
The last Double XP weekend has ended and we are unsure when the next will happen. Keep an eye out for any information regarding the double XP weekend on the official XDefiant Twitter account and the XDefiant Discord server, as they will surely inform the players via these platforms.
The last Double XP weekend happened recently. It was Friday June 28 at 10am PT and will end on Monday July 2, at 10am PT. We expect that there will be steady Double XP weekends moving forward, so we’ll keep updating this page with more new information as it happens!

This first double XP weekend was in celebration of the first weekend since the launch of XDefiant and did well to help players get out of those initial low levels of any gun they wanted to level up. Finally, we get to see another one so quickly after to really grind it out.
Players are voicing their opinion on the slow speed of weapon leveling, but some players who manage to get a lot of kills per match are expressing that it isn’t all that slow if you get high kills. Everyone is still waiting to hear from Ubisoft on whether they will increase the progression with the weapon levels or keep it the same.
Until the next double XP weekend starts, we’ll have to keep playing XDefiant so we can all gear up and grind those weapons to the maximum possible level.
