If you are trying to craft Viessa Enhanced Cell in The First Descendant, you are likely wondering where you can find Fusion Plasma Batteries. This is the only other rare item required to craft the Enhanced Cell apart from the blueprint itself, so you are probably only going to have a handful of them. How to Get Fusion Plasma Batteries in The First Descendant
You can get Fusion Plasma Batteries in The First Descendant by completing “Rockfall: Vulgus Strategic Outpost” and “Classified Area: Vulgus Strategic Outpost” in the Sterile Land region. The best way to farm them efficiently is to go back and forth between these two Strategic Outpost missions.
During these missions, you will need to kill all the enemies and the final boss before the timer expires. Make sure that you defeat the boss; if you fail to defeat the boss before the timer runs out, you will not get the Fusion Plasma Batteries.
However, this can take a while as each run of either of the missions will net you 2-3 Fusion Plasma Batteries. Something like the Viesaa Enhanced Cells requires 40 batteries, Ultimate Ajax Spiral Catalyst? That requires 91 batteries, so this can feel a bit too grindy.
But so far, this seems to be the only two missions that can drop Fusion Plasma Batteries in The First Descendant. Fortunately, these missions are in Sterile Land, which is unlocked very early in the game, so you should already have these Strategic Outposts unlocked and ready to be farmed.

- Viessa Enhanced Cells (Fusion Plasma Battery x40)
- Ultimate Ajax Spiral Catalyst (Fusion Plasma Battery x91)
If you want to Research all four of these items, you will need to rigorously farm Fusion Plasma Batteries in The First Descendant. So make sure that you spend a lot of time going back and forth on those two Strategic Outpost missions and get a bunch of them at one time so you do not have to worry about it later down the line.
