Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a game of decisions, and every choice you make has a ripple effect on how the world evolves around you. These ripple effects ultimately impact the kind of ending you receive in the game, and there’s a total of four for you to achieve.
Some of these endings don’t require much effort from your end, but there’s one that will require you to complete every possible questline. If you’re confused or just curious, this list of endings will help you get what you need.
All Endings in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
There are a total of four endings in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. They have different outcomes and ways they affect the world, and they are as follows:
- Successor of Bo (Short Ending)
- Jarful of Medicine (Bad Ending)
- Bound By Fate (Good Ending)
- Dream’s Sweet Deceit (True Ending)
Among these, Bound by Fate, Jarful of Medicine, and Successor of Bo do not require much effort and can be achieved by simply playing the game normally. However, Dream’s Sweet Deceit, which is the True Ending of the game, requires you to complete three different questlines.

How To Get The Successor of Bo (Short) Ending In Wuchang
This is the easiest ending to achieve in the game, as all you need to do is follow the lady in red and meet her at the designated spots across the game. You’ll find her in the following locations:
- Near Buddha Cliffs (She will be sitting on a rock in front of a waterfall)
- Doomwillow Beach ( She will be standing right in front of a shortcut that leads you to the shrine of the area)
- Avian Dwelling (She will be standing right beside the Shrine)
Once you complete the final interaction, a boss fight with Bo Magus will trigger, and upon defeating the boss, the game will end. As the name suggests, in this ending, you pretty much become a successor of Bo and take up the role of the lady in red.
You’ll miss out on the entire final section of the game. We recommend leaving this for the very end, or save a copy to reload to the point just before the final interaction.
How To Get A Jarful of Medicine (Bad) Ending In Wuchang
Remain loyal to Xuanyangzi and give him the Jade Ancient Chisel. You can only do this after defeating the final boss and interacting with the Gate of Truth to unlock A Jarful of Medicine ending.
This ending is pretty interesting, as when you complete it, Xuanyangzhi will stab you and put you inside a jar. It indicates that you aren’t the first Wuchang, and that the suspicions about him stated by He Youzai earlier in the game were true.

How to get the Bound by Fate (Good) Ending
Remain silent when interacting with Xuanyangzi in the Burning Cave to trigger the Bound By Fate Ending. Also, make sure you do not give the Jade Chisel to Xuanyangzi, and that you do not have the Ring of Samsara- Rebirth on you, as that will end up triggering the Dream’s Sweet Deceit Ending.
If you happen to get the ring, you can consume it, and that will be fine. After remaining silent, make sure to interact with the Gate of Truth, and you will have triggered the Good Ending of the game.
How to get Dream’s Sweet Deceit (True) Ending
You need to complete the White Robe Elder, Fang Yao, and He Youzai questlines, craft the Ring of Samsara – Rebirth, and enter the Gate of Truth after the final boss to unlock the True Ending in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Make sure that you do not give the Jade Chisel to Xuanyangzi.
Once you enter through the Gate of Truth, you’ll get up on a boat and venture alongside He Youzai and Fang Yao. From there, you’re on your way.
How To Craft the Ring of Samsara – Rebirth
Completing the Fang Yao questline to get the Ring of Samsara – Cause. Complete the He Youzai questline to get the Ring of Samsara – Effect. Next, defeat the Demon of Obsession, and you will be able to then combine the two rings to get the Ring of Samsara – Rebirth.
The Demon of Obsession can be accessed from the Bo Capital Mystery Gate. Similar to every other Mystery Gate, you’ll be given two options, and you must select The Wheel Turns Anew. This will open the gate, and the boss fight will start on the other side.
