The Forest Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake remains one of the most fascinating places to explore. It is the first dungeon Link completes as an adult, and you will need to work your way through the Lost Woods and grab Saria’s Song before you can even reach it. I found most of them sitting right on the main path, if you look correctly. That said, you will need the Hookshot to collect them all. One of them also requires the Scarecrow’s Song if you want it on the first trip.
I highly recommend grabbing them on your first go, so you don’t have to backtrack later. In this guide, I will explain how you can get your hands on all 5 of them.
Forest Temple Gold Skulltula # 1: Entrance Courtyard

After you deal with two Wolfos in the first outdoor room of the Forest Temple, you have to look up at the vines on your right side, near the tree. Climb the vines to the top, and you can spot the Gold Skulltulla hanging near the highest point.

Aim your Hookshot at it, and you can then drop the token and pick it up. While there, you can also walk across the branch where you find a chest for a Small Key.
Forest Temple Gold Skulltula # 2: Main Hall (Four Torches)

Once you are inside the big central chamber, you have to head up the stairs near the northern door. About halfway up, turn around and look towards the wall to your right side (southeast side).

The spider can be found sitting high on the wall. Hookshot it for the Gold Skulltula.
Forest Temple Gold Skulltula #3: Balcony After the Boss Key

After you have grabbed the Boss Key, drop through the hole, and you will land on a balcony in the northwestern part of the temple. Instead of going straight to the next room, follow the narrow ledge that wraps around the south of the doorway.

You can see the Gold Skulltula on the wall past the corner. Hookshot it from there.
Forest Temple Gold Skulltula #4: Scarecrow Spot in the Northeast Room

To get this, you have to first learn the Scarecrow’s Song from the scarecrows at Lake Hylia. You have to visit them once as a child and again as an adult to do so. After you have pushed the block down to create the shortcut near the northeastern area with the stream, turn around and look up. Play the Scarecrow’s song here.

Pierre appears on the high ledge. Simply Hookshot to him to find the Gold Skulltula waiting on the balcony.
Forest Temple Gold Skulltula #5: Rotating Room Before the Boss

Deal with the four Poe Sisters and then ride the elevator down to the basement. In the rotating circular room just before the boss door, spin the walls until you can reach the southern alcove that has the green pots.

The final Gold Skulltula can be found inside the section on the wall. Hookshot it, and you will get it.
That concludes the list of locations for all five Gold Skulltulas inside Forest Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake. The first two are hard to miss, as they are available as soon as you enter the location. The balcony one, however, will show up after the Boss Key drop.
The Scarecrow one also requires the song from Lake Hylia, and the final one sits in the rotating room right before you fight Phantom Ganon. Collect the tokens as you clear the dungeon, and you won’t miss any. Once you are done here, the Fire Temple is the next dungeon on the list.
