Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty, the upcoming expansion of CD Projekt Red’s 2020 title, popped up for pre-order briefly in the GOG website. Spotted by Reddit user Thebuffel, the expansion showed up to be priced at 30€. Although they reported that they couldn’t go through with the purchase as it could not be added to cart.
Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty DLC is not yet accessible for pre-order
A large number of people have since tried to pre-order the DLC, however, no one has had any success. Some people have reported not seeing the pre-order option, while some have shared that the listing on the website doesn’t appear for them at all.
Interestingly enough, the pre-order page didn’t specify any release date. CDPR hasn’t made any official statements either, regarding the possible release date for Phantom Liberty, which as it stands, is Cyberpunk 2077’s first and seemingly the only expansion. However, from GOG’s leak, people have drawn their own conclusion that its release is imminent.
The 30€ price tag has also excited some people, as they feel that they will get a good amount of content with the expansion, considering the price is higher by roughly 10€ compared to the current-gen AAA DLC trends.
There have been various leaks and rumors about the expansion, some indicating that it will release in late 2023. We also know that Idris Elba will be coming to Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty, however, there are no official updates about his role in the game.
