A few weeks after officially announcing it on X, Teyon has rolled out New Game Plus for RoboCop: Rogue City in a major update.
On the game’s Steam page, the developer revealed that players, after completing the game, will be able to access the NG+ mode. This will allow them to restart the game with all the unlocked skills and upgrades.
Additionally, the update also adds a new Golden skin for the Auto-9 that will be unlocked after the first completion. Players will be able to access this skin when they start a New Game Plus. The developers have also introduced more boards and chips for the Auto-9, so players can expect more upgrade options.
Another major addition in the new update is ‘There Will Be Trouble’, a new difficulty level. This setting will apparently make the enemies deadlier, resulting in the most challenging gameplay possible.
Lastly, the update fixes some popular issues reported by the community. To quote the official changelog:
“Fixed the shooting mode not properly resetting when exiting interiors
Fixed RoboCop’s right hand disappearing when grabbing a human enemy while unaliving them
Fixed the Stolen Vehicle investigation being skipped if Ben immediately opened the locker“
RoboCop: Rogue City is recognized as one of the sleeper hits of 2023, and I think the new update will add a bit more mileage to the title’s popularity. Whether or not Teyon follows this up with a major DLC is yet to be seen.
