It looks like Silent Hill is going to get a big boost in visibility. Konami has confirmed a second Silent Hill Transmission event set for Thursday, May 30th at 4:00 pm PDT. This online presentation will deliver updates on multiple Silent Hill projects, covering video games and the upcoming film adaptation.
According to the tweet, one of the main things to watch out for could be the much-anticipated Silent Hill 2 Remake. Bloober Team is behind this project, and the remake has already grabbed attention with an earlier trailer. This event might give us a more detailed look at the gameplay and perhaps disclose a release date. Bloober Team has acknowledged concerns about the previous trailer not fully capturing the essence of the game, so viewers can look forward to a more accurate presentation this time.

We’ve been waiting for a Silent Hill 2 remake, so expectations are pretty high. We don’t doubt this reveal will be something we talk about for a while.
Another game that might be included is Silent Hill f. This new game in the series takes players to 1960s Japan and was first revealed during the initial Silent Hill Transmission in 2022. There are only limited details about this title available, so there’s no better place to talk about it than a scheduled stream.

The presentation may also include an update on Silent Hill: Townfall, a story-focused spinoff from No Code Studios. This project was revealed at the same time as Silent Hill f in 2022.
The Silent Hill Transmission will also explore the upcoming movie version of Silent Hill 2. Directed by Christophe Gans, who directed the 2006 Silent Hill movie, this project has already given a sneak peek of its portrayal of Pyramid Head. The Transmission might offer a more detailed look at the film, possibly including a new trailer and a release date announcement. We’ll have to wait and see, but it looks like this is a big step in the franchise’s return.
