According to popular leaker Billbil-kun, Train Sim World 4 will release on September 26, 2023. The next installment of the extremely popular train simulation series is under development, and the reliable leaker claimed that the pre-orders for this game will go live on August 22, 2023. He also claimed that the previous installment of the game will be closed for sale once Train Sim World 4 goes live.

Train Sim World 4 price will be around €40
Billbil-kun has offered some information about the price of Train Sim World 4. According to him, the base variant of this title could be priced at a minimum of €40. As the previous game is supposed to be taken off after the new one releases, fans can take this opportunity to invest in Train Sim World 3 at a lower price for the next couple of months. Currently, the third installment costs around €6 when purchased through an official vendor, such as Dealabs.
Train Sim World 4 will feature “hundreds of DLCs” and upward compatibility for old DLCs
The upcoming game is supposed to have tons of additional content, never seen before in any previous installments. He further speculates that Train Sim World 4 will support numerous expansions, with post-launch DLCs numbering in the hundreds. These DLCs will offer players a chance to explore additional routes as well as gain access to new types of locomotives.
Billbil-kun also believes that DLCs for the existing versions of the game will feature upward compatibility for Train Sim World 4. So, the players who have spent hundreds and thousands of bucks for DLCs in Train Sim 2 and Train Sim 3 will have an option to import them into the fourth installment.
It is important to note that the developer Dovetail Games is yet to announce any official details about the possibility of Train Sim World 4 releasing this year. Many fans believe that the game won’t be released till 2025. However, Billbil-kun has proven himself to be a reliable source of leaks, predicting launches of various titles accurately in the past. Fans will have to wait a short while for an official announcement if the game is indeed scheduled for release this year.
