EA Sport’s famous FIFA title for the year will be launched under a new name, FC 24 this year. Based on the release dates of the past FIFA games and the recent information from famous leaker Billbil-kun, the game will be released on September 29. The last two games in the FIFA series, FIFA 22 and FIFA 23 were launched on the last Friday in September of 2022 and 2023 respectively. This points to the high possibility of EA Sports following the same suit for this year’s edition of EA’s football game.
Ending a 30-year partnership between EA Sports and FIFA, the upcoming FC 24 is set to be the first title in EA’s FC series. While the name has changed, reports say that this will essentially be the same game as the rest of the FIFA series. Furthermore, EA has announced that they will reveal the complete details of the upcoming title sometime in July, further confirming the strong possibility of the game’s release in September.
FC 24 will feature several returning game modes from FIFA 23
Not many features and content from FC 24 have been revealed yet. However, considering that it’s essentially the same game as the rest of the games in the FIFA series, we believe some features from FIFA 23 are bound to make an appearance in the latest entry too. To that end, popular game modes, such as Online Career Mode, Ultimate Team Mode, and Pro Clubs Mode, are expected to be a part of EA Sport’s FC 24.
Even though the FIFA-EA Sports partnership has come to an end last year, thanks to the continued partnership of EA with FIFPRO, FC 24 will also feature the in-game characters that have the exact likeness of some of the current generation’s professional football players. The official website for the game is already adorned with logos of several official competitions and leagues, including the Premier League, La Liga Santander, UEFA Champions League, and Bundesliga. NSWL and UEFA Women’s Champions League are also present on the roster. This clearly means that just because the name has changed, it doesn’t mean that the upcoming title will feature any less licensed content.
