How to Get the Through Pain to Heaven Mission in Phantom Liberty
The Through Pain to Heaven mission in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is only given to you when you hand over Songbird to Reed at the end of The Killing Moon. But, in order to get The Killing Moon mission in the first place, you will need to side with Songbird and help her escape during the Firestarter mission.
Once you hand over Songbird to Reed at the end of The Killing Moon, he will let you know that he will call you about helping with the cure of your own Relic. Now you will have to wait around and do other missions or simply skip time for 24 hours.
After this time has passed, you will get a call from Reed saying he is working on getting you the surgery but since he is leaving Night City, he wants to meet you face-to-face.
How to Complete the Through Pain to Heaven Mission in Phantom Liberty
This mission doesn’t involve much other than a short conversation with Reed and Johnny after it. Reed will ask you to meet him at a CHOOH2 station, so get there first. Once you get there, he will talk to you about how he needs to leave for Langley but he will also mention that he keeps wondering why Songbird chose to contact you and not him when all of this started.
After this conversation, as he is about to leave he will let you know that he is currently in contact with some surgeons that can help you and that the operation will take place soon. Once Reed leaves, Johnny will show up and let you know that he is worried about Reed because he thinks Reed might commit suicide after losing everything that he was fighting for.
This is all there is to this mission, Reed will leave and the mission will be over. After a day, Reed will contact you once again as promised which will start the mission called Who Wants to Live Forever which which will lead to one of the unique endings for the game that is added with the Phantom Liberty expansion.
