What We Know So Far About Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link
Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is a new offering by Final Fantasy’s famed developer Square Enix. It is a mobile game, which is anticipated to release in 2024 for Android and iOS phones. Square Enix has described this brand new entry in its immensely popular Kingdom Hearts franchise, as a ‘GPS action RPG’. Apart from the series staples, such as Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Rapunzel, Riku, and Sore, the game is supposed to introduce various new characters and gameplay elements.
The new title will feature new characters along with a brand new story that takes place within the larger Kingdom Hearts universe. While the developer is yet to announce any specifics of the upcoming game, the trailer indicates that the game will use both open-world, AR-enabled exploration, as well as challenging and stimulating battles with new enemies.
Eligibility Criteria & Dates For Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link Closed Beta
Gamers on iOS and Android devices will be eligible for the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta test. The developer will accept the applications up until Nov 19, 2023. Only people aged more than 18 years and residing in the UK and Australia will be eligible to apply.
This is certainly disheartening for the series’ fans in Japan and the United States, two major countries where the series has a massive fan following. However, as the game operates using GPS technology, there’s no chance for players outside the UK and Australia to participate in this closed beta test.
The closed beta test for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link for iOS will commence between Nov 29, 2023 to Dec 8, 2023. 1500 people will be chosen to participate in it. The official dates for the Android beta tests are yet to be announced. However, it is likely that the Android test will also consist of 1,500 beta testers, and is anticipated to happen sometime in Jan 2024.
