Who Are The New Characters Revealed To Be In Tekken 8?
Devil Jin
Devil Jin, the devil form of Jin Kazama, is the primary protagonist in Tekken 8. Kazama was first introduced in Tekken 3 and later became a fully playable character in Tekken 5. He is known to fight with Karate and is well-rounded in both pressurizing the opponents as well as performing heavy damaging punishes.
Zafina
Zafina possesses many spiritual abilities, mainly from her Middle-Eastern bloodline of great warriors from the ancient past. She made her first appearance in Tekken 6, later featured in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Tekken 7 (as a DLC character in the third season pass). Zafina has the second-highest number of total stances and transitions from stances to attacks which makes her a very unpredictable character compensating for her lack of strength.
Alisa Bosconovitch
Alisa is a look-alike Android version of the daughter of Russian Doctor Bosconovitch, who created her in his pursuit of reviving her deceased daughter. She was first seen in Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion, and later became a part of Tekken 7 as well. Even though she is a bot, Alisa acts like a human character with emotions. Her attacks are very powerful and fast, albeit difficult to execute to perfection.
Lee Chaolan
Lee is one of the OGs and one of the most popular characters in the Tekken Series. Lee was adopted by Heihachi Mishima who raised her as a rival to Kazuya Mishima in his childhood. Lee has been a long-standing part of the series all the way from the original Tekken game while appearing in every game in the series except for Tekken 3. He is often liked for his manipulative style of play and his ability to poke and annoy his opponents till they are finished.
Panda
Panda, as you may guess, is a giant panda. She is the bodyguard of Ling Xiaoyu and the love interest of Kuma (the bear bodyguard and pet of Heihachi Mishima). She was first introduced in Tekken 3 and has made several appearances since then. She features the same fighting style as Kuma, and the same non-standard hitbox making them harder to hit.
Apart from these five fighters, Bandai Namco has mentioned that the final two fighters will be revealed on November 2, and November 12.
