However, that’s not all, as Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 224 gave a glimpse of Gojo’s opinions on Sukuna’s possession of Megumi’s body. While in earlier chapters, much of Gojo’s mental state was not explored, this chapter hinted that he might be looking for ways to save his student. On the other hand, the action between the Six Eyes user and the King of Curses remains tensed even though some of situations seem comedic. But question arises on what trick the King of Curses may pull at the last moment, considering he is yet to use Megumi’s Curse Technique.

Titled Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Part 2, the chapter begins with an angry Sukuna healing his arm while comparing Gojo to a fish who is about to be descaled. Although the white-haired protagonist expresses surprise at Sukuna for keeping Megumi’s face and body, he eventually remarks that it would make punching him better since Megumi resembles Toji Fushiguro, his father, a lot. Keeping a cocky attitude, the white-haired protagonist then says that he will think about Megumi once he manages to defeat the King of Curses. Gojo then remarks how he has gone through a special training so that he could finish off Sukuna.
The battle wages on in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 224, Sukuna throws a punch that Gojo evades and instead throws him into a walk. Following the King of Curses to a bridge, Gojo tactfully breaks the bridge and throws it alongside Sukuna to a large building. But the latter moves away before he could clash with the building and activates his “Dismantle” at Gojo, who survives the attack due to his Infinity blocking effect. Sukuna tries once again to attack Gojo, but it all turns vain. In an exciting moment, Gojo instantly inactivates his Infinity and holds Sukuna’s wrist before pulling them inside the collapsing building where the fight resumes.

The conclusion segments of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 224 is perhaps the most dramatic but funny part. When a door appears between the fighting duo, who plan to punch through it, the building ultimately falls on them. However, the two are unharmed as they walked out of the building bickering. Haughtily, Gojo decides to push the blame of the collapsing building on Sukuna, but he remembers that the battle is being broadcasted live by Mei Mei, so holds himself back as the truth of their attacks are open for all to see.
