Epic Games has a cool deal going on that will give you another skin in Fortnite to celebrate the Borderlands 4 launch. This is really easy to do, but you’re going to have to act fast.
Before you set anything up, make sure you have a Fortnite account and are ready to make some moves quickly. Otherwise, you’re going to have to spend a lot of money to get the bundle, whether you’re playing early or not.
How to Claim Your Free Mad Moxxi Bundle in Fortnite
You have to buy Borderlands 4 on the Epic Games Store to get the free mad Moxxi Bundle in Fortnite. The offer is only good if you buy the game before September 12, 2026, at 11:59 pm ET, and you have to make sure you’re using the same Epic account you use to play Fortnite. This is how the game knows to add the bundle to your Fortnite locker.
Once you’ve purchased the game within that specific time frame, getting the bundle is super easy. You just have to log into Fortnite with that same Epic account anytime after July 29, 2025, 5 am ET. Once you log in, the Mad Moxxi Bundle will be automatically added to your Fortnite locker. It comes with the Mad Moxxi outfit (including a Shader Off variant), the Moxxi’s Tip Jar Back Bling, and the Underdome Megaphone Pickaxe. This feels like a great reward to hold you off until you unlock Vault Hunter mode.
If you’ve already bought the bundle, or parts of it, from the Fortnite Shop, don’t worry. There’s a V-Bucks refund for you. If you previously bought the whole bundle, you’ll get 2,000 V-Bucks instead of the bundle when you buy Borderlands 4. If you only bought some of the items, you’ll get the V-Bucks back for those specific items, as long as you bought them within 90 days of your next login, and the remaining bundle items you don’t own will be added to your locker. Just make sure to pick the best character you can when playing Borderlands 4.
One of the coolest things is that if you play Fortnite on other platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo, the Mad Moxxi Bundle will show up in your locker across all of them, as long as those console accounts are linked to your Epic account. However, there’s a huge catch: if you refund your purchase of Borderlands 4 on the Epic Games Store, you’ll lose the bundle in Fortnite. So, make sure your Epic accounts are linked up and that you’re sure you want to keep the game before you claim the bundle.
What’s Included in the Mad Moxxi Bundle?
The bundle itself is pretty cool and comes with three specific cosmetic items to change up your look. You get the Mad Moxxi Outfit, which even has a shader-off variant for a different style. To go with that, there’s the Moxxi’s Tip Jar Back Bling, a perfect little accessory to equip.
To round it all out, the Underdome Megaphone Pickaxe gives you a unique harvesting tool inspired by Moxxi’s infamous Underdome. It’s a full cosmetic package that lets you really embrace that Mad Moxxi aesthetic. If you already owned the entire bundle, you’ll get 2,000 V-Bucks instead of the cosmetics when you buy Borderlands 4.
