Where Words Sprout, Fall Unfold, a spinoff mission in Nevernessto Everness, has more than a dozen objectives you must complete to finish the mission. While most of them are easy and always involve talking to different NPCs, one of the objectives at the beginning has you look for clues as part of an investigation. The house is not big, but finding the clues can be a bit tedious. Here is the guide to pinpoint all the clue locations at Maiyue’s Home in Neverness to Everness.
All Clue Locations at Maiyue’s Home
The first two are easier to find; the third one took me a while, as I was looking for an object like the first two, but the third clue is part of a dialogue exchange with a special NPC.
Clue Location #1
Enter Maiyue’s Home, immediately turn right, and head to the kitchen. Here, you will come across stacked-up files lying on the desk. Examine the files to rule out the first clue on the mission objective.
Clue Location #2
Now leave the kitchen, head to the second floor by taking the flight of stairs. Enter the room on the left, directly across the balcony. Inside the room, interact with the table in the corner to get the second clue.
Clue Location #3
Get out of the room, where we found the second clue, and interact with the plant near the bookshelf on the right. And you will get into conversation with an NPC, Little Buni. Converse with the plant, and soon you will get to choose between:
- Maiyue’s house is odd?
- What are you doing?
- Any notable clues?
- Goodbye.
Select Maiyue’s house oddity to get our third clue.
That’s it, then the objective will be updated to bid farewell to Zhengzhi and Zhongchun. Both of them will be waiting for you at the front door. So head down the stairs and talk to them to continue with the rest of the spinoff quest in Neverness to Everness.
