It does feel great when a good story comes to an end, but in a video game, the rules are a bit different; here, the option for replayability also adds another layer to the story ending. And the tradition of different conclusions is also carried over to The Adventures of Elliot, which features three different endings to complete the story. The game also links a secret weapon/ pendant/ quests/ and collectibles to its endings, making the unlock a difficult process, but it’s worth the time investment. Here in this guide, we will explore all three endings to The Adventures of Elliot and how you can unlock them.
All Endings in The Adventures of Elliot
There are three different endings, and the bosses you will face at the end of each ending will be a bit different from the others. The boss you will face for the true ending is not the same boss you will take down on the bad ending. You can use the boss as an example to keep track of all three endings in The Adventures of Elliot.
- As Long As Any Hope Remains | Bad Ending: Defeating the Sorcerer at the end of the game will unlock this achievement.
- The Peace In Which We Walk | Good Ending: Here, we defeat the Beast of Enmity to unlock this ending.
- Steps Required:

- Step #2: Finding Three Sages or Cats

- Steps Required:
- At The Thousand-Year Journey End | True Ending: True Ending requires us to defeat the first boss, Beast of Enmity, that we faced on the Good Ending, and also a new hidden boss, Demise the Destroyer, to unlock the final True Ending.

- Steps Required:
As Long As Any Hope Remains | Bad Ending (Bronze Trophy)

Boss: The Sorcerer
All you have to do to unlock this one is to defeat the final boss, The Sorcerer, located at the Northern Tower in the Age of Safekeeping. You will fight the boss at the bottom of the tower, defeat the boss, and that’s it. This ending is easier to achieve if you just follow the instructions of the game without taking any other route (Involving special weapons, pendants, quests, or any collectibles); you will get this ending. Here, you will take down The Sorcerer and get the achievement, “As Long As Any Hope Remains”
The Peace In Which We Walk | Good Ending (Silver Trophy)

Boss: Beast of Enmity
Here, we are going to do things a bit differently than just rushing to the end. First, we will get the secret weapon, “Leystaf,” and the upgrade for the weapon.
- Step #1: Get the Leytstaf Weapon: First, head to Water Ruins in Age of Reconstruction to grab the special weapon Leytstaf (A three-star weapon). Here, in the ruins, you will also find the Diving Manual that allows you to dive underwater.
- Step #2: Finding Three Sages: Here, we will head to a specific place and follow the quest marker that will lead to a sage, which happens to be a cat. Interacting with the cat unlocks Mystic Writings and Keys.
- First Sage: Head to Hitoyori village in Age of Budding, and here we will trigger a cutscene with Lyudmila NPC. Now follow the quest marker, and it will lead to a white cat lying on a circular platform surrounded by grass. Interact with the cat, and you will get First Mystic Writings/ Wynat’s Key.
- Second Sage: Now head to Littlehope Village in Age of Reconstruction to trigger a cutscene. Now follow the quest marker, and it will lead you to a lava-filled area with a black cat on the platform near the stairs. Interact with the black cat, and you will obtain Second Mystic Writings / Boyne’s Key.
- Step #3: Find Mystic Seal and the Third Sage: With both Keys in our possession, now we are ready to uncover the third sage and an upgrade for the Leytstaf weapon we picked up earlier.

- Third Sage: The last sage or cat is found at Weyzn in the Age of Magic. Here, you will enter a cutscene with Fausta, follow the quest marker to complete the event battles. At the end, you will head to the dungeon located at Geared Ruins, where you come across a door with a status on both sides. Enter the keys we received from the last two sages, “Wynat’s Key” and “Boyne’s Key,” to open the door.
- On the other side, you will face a giant robot named “Maxim Guardis“, defeat the boss, and you will meet a fancy white cat standing on two legs. Talk to the cat, and you will receive “Mystic Seal” (Nomutota, upgrade for the Leytstaf)
Note: Just like the name says, Mystic Seal, and you will also get a notification on the HUD, “Seal the Beast of Enmity with Nomutota.” Nomutota refers to Mystic Seal’s charge attack for the Leytstaf sword.
- Step #4: Defeat The Beast of Enmity with Marked Seal: Now head back to the Northern Tower in the Age of Safekeeping, but this time we will come face to face against the Beast of Enmity. Defeat the boss with the Marked Seal attack from Leytstaf.
- Perform Nomutota or Marked Seal Attack: To perform Nomutota, hold down the attack button to start charging the Leytstaf sword. Once the charge is complete, release the attack button to lunge forward with the sword towards the boss. Once the charge is complete, you will see a dust of air release around your character with a blue glow aura from the top,
Note: Make sure to perform Nomutota as a final blow against the boss.
That’s it, now you will unlock the good ending, The Peace In Which We Walk.
At The Thousand-Year Journey End | True Ending (Gold Trophy)

Boss: Beast of Enmity/ Demise the Destroyer (Hidden Boss)
Compared to the last two, this one will be a bit longer, and you must perform additional collectibles besides the one we did in the good ending unlock.
- Step #1: Find at least 30 Cats: The game has 50 cats in its game world; you need to find at least 30 of them to trigger the true ending.
- Step #2: Completing Additional Quests: Here, we will have to hit four different areas to complete four separate additional quests.
- Age of Budding: Head to Whiterea in the Age of Budding, to Lyudmila’s house, start following the quest marker, which will take you to Dragonpillar, then you must carry out a boss battle in Grandtree to complete the quest.
- Age of Magic: make your way to Whiterea in the Age of Magic, now head towards Mao’s house, and you will find Mao’s Pendant in the middle of the hut. Pick it up to start the quest, and follow the quest marker to complete it.
- Age of Reconstruction: Head to Whiterea in the Age of Reconstruction. Head towards Mao’s house to trigger a cutscene with the doctor, and follow the quest marker to complete the quest.

- Age of Safekeeping: make your way to the Kingdom of Huther, follow the red quest marker, and it will take you to the throne room and then Eldertree, and lastly, you will receive the Amber Pendant (Lowers the damage received from Beast of Enmity by a whopping 50%)
- Step #3: Defeat Beast of Enmity but by Parry:

- Head to the Northern Tower in the Age of Safekeeping to go one last time against the Beast of Enmity. Now, we have to defeat the boss differently from the last two times. For the True Ending, we just have to perform Three Perfect Guard or Parry against the boss while having the Amber Pendant equipped in the accessory.
- Once you defeat the boss, the secret hidden boss route will unlock. Follow the quest marker, and you will face the true final boss of the game, ‘Demise the Destroyer.‘
That’s it, now you have unlocked all three trophies related to all three endings in The Adventures of Elliot.
