Sometimes NPCs in a game exist to give you more than just direction to the main objective of a quest. In Moonlight Peaks, you can be romantically involved with more than a dozen in-game characters. You can take the relationship to a whole new level by proposing to the characters for marriage and more. All Romanceable Character Details
You are only allowed to have romance or a relationship with some of the characters, which means you will skip out on some of them. You can’t have a romantic path with Skull Girl/ Pumpkin Head (Theatrical Event Host)/ Moon Goddess/ Viktor, and Brook Logan (Saga’s father). The official lineup contains 23 romanceable characters in Moonlight Peaks, with more on the way.

How to Start the Romance with Characters in Moonlight Peaks
Starting a romance with any of the characters in-game ain’t going to be easy; we are going to start with the simple and basic and move to the marriage potential. You can track relationship progress in the Relationship Menu, which appears on the menu screen with a Heart icon.
- Build a Friendship: There are certain actions you must take to build a proper friendship with the character before opening the gate to romance. So how do we accomplish this task? You need to talk to the Characters regularly and give gifts. The more you talk to a character, the game will unlock more dialogue options and events, opening the character for dating potential.
- Giving Gifts: While talking can be easy, gifts can be a bit complicated. Each romanceable character has their own list of Loved Gifts, Likeable Gifts, and Hated Gifts. Handing out Loved or Best gifts raises your relationship with the character, while Hated Gifts will lower it.
Tip: You can craft handmade gifts to make a thoughtful gift. These can be things like Flower Arranging and Embroidery. This will require work and ingredients, but they offer more value than getting store-bought gifts.
- Going on Dates: Once the friendship phase is through, you will enter the romantic period with the characters. Here you will take part in various activities: Flower-Bouquet Dates and Marshmallow-Roasting Dates to spend more time with the loved one. In Flower-Bouquet Dates, you will arrange a bouquet for your partner, and in Marshmallow-Roasting Dates, you and your partner will roast marshmallows.
Note: Failing to roast marshmallows during the Marshmallow-Roasting Date can jeopardize the date and diminish the relationship points.
Once love blooms, you can now get married to the character. You can turn your human spouse into a vampire so that your partner never ages and becomes your eternal companion. As of writing, there are no children in the game; while marriage will have a giant ceremony and the couple moving to a new house, children are expected, hopefully in future updates.

Tips for Dating
Here are some general tips that you can use for dating in Moonlight Peaks:
- Talk to the characters regularly to build a friendship. You can have friendships and relationships with all characters regardless of their gender.
- Besides getting love, being in a relationship also offers crafting materials and unique blueprints.
- Hand out Best or Loved Gifts and Likeable Gifts; avoid handing out Hated Gifts to the character. Each character will have different gift choices separating them from others.
- You can date multiple people, and it will get brought up during conversation, but you will only get to marry one character.
- Avoiding a partner’s date invitations will result in a breakup, but it can be patched up in a few days.
- Take part in Dating Minigames; make sure not to fail. Failing the minigames also impacts your relationship.
- You will know when you have reached a relationship milestone with any of the 23 characters as you will trigger exclusive cutscenes.
