Plague Tale games are synonymous for its depth narrative and puzzles that require more than just random button presses to solve. In Chapter 4, when Sophia and Leni head to the Trial area, you can expect to face puzzles and many surprises. While the first few puzzles offer a tutorial experience into the trial, over time the difficulty of the puzzles increases, making you work harder to solve them to reveal the hidden path to the next room.
The solution for them requires a bit of concentration (like in the Plunderer’s Tracks solution), which can be difficult as you are dealing with many things at the same time. Here we take a look at the way to solve the maze puzzle in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
How to Solve the Maze Light Puzzle Solution in Chapter 4
If you want a quick answer, choose Bug on the pedestal on the left, and the cross with two horizontal lines on the pedestal on the right to solve the puzzle.
The Maze Light Puzzle features two interactable pedestals, one on the left and another on the right. It also has five pillars around the circular maze, each with its own unique symbol and blue light emanating from it (the Light Reveal ability helps you see the light). To solve the puzzle, we will need to insert the proper symbol on both interactable pedestals.
Symbol #1: Bug
Use the Light Reveal ability right in front of the interactable pedestal on the left of the maze. You will see that the light from the pedestal is connected to the pillar with the Bug symbol. Head back to the Interactable pedestal and choose the Bug symbol to complete the first part of the puzzle. Now we move on to the second one.
Symbol #2: Cross with two horizontal lines
Same technique as the first one: use the Light Reveal ability in front of the second interactable pedestal on the right, and you will find the lines connected to the pillar with a cross symbol with two horizontal lines, located next to the Bug pillar.
Now head back to the interactable pedestal on the right and choose the Cross with two horizontal lines to complete the second or final part of the puzzle.
After selecting both, the door will open, and you can continue to move forward to cover the rest of the puzzles.
