Gray Zone Warfare released its 0.5 update, called Rogue Ops, on October 22, 2026, following the Supporter Preview that started on October 19, 2026. This update featured a transition from the game’s pre-alpha phase to alpha. It also brought new features that I personally liked, such as the new hideout crafting and building loop, along with Rogue PMC smuggling, new weapons, and a soft wipe system.
That being said, Gray Zone Warfare is still keeping its UNLRA lab door locked at Tiger Bay, even in the new update. Also, the old method of farming AI until the HQ Lab Key drops doesn’t work anymore. Hence, in this guide, I will show you the easy way to open the UNLRA lab door in the game.
How to Open the UNLRA Lab Door in Gray Zone Warfare
The UNLRA lab door can be found around these coordinates: 201, 132, in Tiger Bay. But opening the door is a little trickier than you might think. Here’s how I did it:

Clear out the area of enemies before you do anything. Once that is done, go in through the front entrance of the main building, then turn left and head into the main office.

You will see a blue folder lying on the desk. Open it and go through the document to find the code.

It is fairly easy, as the number is clearly written without any riddles, if you just read through the message. These numbers can change between raids; hence, always check the current one instead of relying on the note from your previous run.

Once you have the updated code, go back outside and look for the electrical panel on the side wall of the building. It will be a small metal box. Once you are near, you will see a prompt to open it.

Open the panel and turn the power off before you go near the UNLRA lab door. This will keep the alarms off and keep the nearby AI enemies and other players away. I highly recommend not skipping this step if you want a smooth run.

Once this is done, head to the door itself and punch the code you took from the folder. The lock will open, and you will have access to the interiors of the lab.
What Can You Find Inside the UNLRA Lab in Gray Zone Warfare
I found the Horrific Recordings, or the UNLRA Bio Samples that Lab Rat wants from the What Remains task. You can also find some of the usual medical loot that makes the stop worthwhile. The entire process will only take you a minute or two once you clear out the nearby area. You can also repeat this process when the code refreshes.
With this out of the way, the next thing on the list with the 0.5 update should be getting all the 6 new Weapon Camos in the game.
