Finding collectible items is always fun, especially if they boost your combat power and advance your character progression. In Phantom Blade Zero, we have Blackstone Shards; using these shards can help us boost our overall combat potential, so ignoring them will not be a wise idea. While exploring Weeping Creek Valley, you will come across four separate Blackstone Shards, and all four of them are hidden from the player’s view. Finding all of them can be a bit difficult, since all of them are located in different areas of the map.
In this guide, I will help you find all four Blackstone Shards in Weeping Creek Valley. I will point all of them out on the map to help you pinpoint their location easily without meandering around the map aimlessly.
All Blackstone Shards in Weeping Creek Valley
We will encounter 4 Blackstone Shards in Weeping Creek Valley; all four of them are found in four separate locations. None of them are tied to any secret missions in the Weeping Creek Valley; all four can be found while exploring.
Blackstone Shard #1
The very first Blackstone Shard is locked inside the cell. First, we must recover the Cell Key and then use the Cell Key to open the locked door to find the Blackstone Shard inside.
First, travel to the Outpost bell, then head to the marked spot on the map, and you will find the Cell Key behind the house. You can’t miss it, since the fire-like essence oozing out of the item makes it easier to detect. Now with the key in hand, travel to the Outpost Courtyard bell and head to the marker below to find the Cell. Interact with the cell and open its door by using the Cell Key to find the first Blackstone Shard in Weeping Creek Valley.
Blackstone Shard #2
This one, unlike the last one, is obtainable through an enemy drop. All you have to do is kill enemies near the Ruthless Archer Camp.
Travel to the Creek Valley Plains Entrance bell and make your way to the Ruthless Archer Camp bell. From the Creek Valley Plains Entrance bell, walk up the slope and hug the left side until you find wooden ladders. Now climb the ladders all the way to the top, and you will find a bunch of enemies attacking you; defeat them to get the second Blackstone Shard in Weeping Creek Valley.
Blackstone Shard #3
The third Blackstone Shard is found inside a chest near the waterfall.
Travel to the Long Pillar Overlook bell, then descend down and then cross the wooden bridge to the east of the area. Now just move north until you find the waterfall; it’s good if you just stick to the water to lead you to the waterfall spot in the area. Near the waterfall, you will find the chest on a platform a bit higher above the water. You will need to use the Hunter’s Chain Sickle from the Hunt Boss to grapple your way to the top of the platform and finally open the chest to grab the third Blackstone Shard.
Blackstone Shard #4
The fourth and final Blackstone Shard is a drop item from defeating enemies in the Sha-Chi’s Tower Base.
Again, travel to the Long Pillar Overlook bell and then head to the marked spot on the map. Your goal is to get to the Sha-Chi’s Tower Base. You don’t have to get all the way to the top; as you climb in this tower, you will come across monks ambushing you in an open area inside the tower. Defeat all the monks to get the Blackstone Shard as a reward.
