Xorcist is the coolest-looking fishing rod obtained in Fisch; the black-and-white glow is what makes the guitar-like rod look best at night. Getting your hands on the Xorcist fishing rod will take time and completion of a lot of quests from Ken. You must hunt down specific items and fish in the game at different locations to obtain the last quest on the line.
In this guide, I will help you guide you through all four Ken Carson quests in Fisch. Each quest will have its own set of objectives; most of them are simple and easy to complete, but some will be a bit difficult. The latter end of the quest will have Ken ask for more difficult challenges. Fear not, I will help you navigate through each of Ken’s quests by helping you with the best location to catch the fish and the items you need for the Xorcist.
Getting the Xorcist Rod in Fisch

You need to complete four separate quests for Ken Carson at Underground Music Venue to get the Xorcist as a reward. Head to Crystal Cove, drop down the hole to get to “Underground Music Venue“. Here, you will find Ken Carson on stage. He will give us a set of quests to complete to get our hands on the limited Xorcist Rod in Fisch.
First Ken Carson Quest
- Obtain 3 Electric Minnows for Ken
- Obtain 2 Scrap Metal for Ken
Catching Electric Minnows: Here, use a Tempest Rod with the Storming Enchant and a Tempest Totem to catch Electric Minnows from the fishing spot. The best location to catch Electric Minnows would be Roslit Bay Freshwater Pond and Roslit Bay Freshwater Pond Seaweed.
Catching Scrap Metal: You will need to use a Trash Rod or Crab Cage with Garbage Bait to catch Scrap Metal. Best places to hunt for Scrap Metal would be at Collapsed Ruins, Crowned Ruins, Crystal Cove, Mineshaft, and The Depths.
Rewards: *Bobber! and a Chaotic Enchant Relic.
Second Ken Carson Quest
- Obtain 1 Shiny Musical Crab for Ken
- Catch and return 3 DJ Spinopus
Both Shiny Musical Crab and DJ Spinopus are found at the fishing spot in Crystal Cove. While you will have much easier time catching DJ Spinopus, for Shiny Musical Crab you will need a Crab Cage and Shiny Totem.
Rewards: X Halo (Halo)
Third Ken Carson Quest
- Catch and return 1 Hexed Ancient Megalodon
- Find Ken’s lost stage Monitor backstage.
Catch Ancient Megalodon: You will also need a No-Life Rod, an Eclipse Totem, and a Megalodon Hunt Totem to catch this one at Ancient Isle. It’s best to use Shark Head and Tryhard Worm as bait to get the Megalodon. One thing you should never forget is the type of Megalodon we are hunting; it’s a Hexed type.
The second objective is a thousand times easier: just get behind Ken, and you will find a square monitor lying on the wall; interact to clear the second objective.
Reward: Stage Monitor (Lantern)
Fourth Ken Carson Quest
- Catch 1 Apex Fish with Duskwire
Lastly, the Apex Fish is tied to the Global Event; check the time on the Global Apex Event to catch the last fish for Ken’s quest. The global stock for the Apex Fish is also limited; they arrive at a particular time on the server. As the challenge states, you will need to use Duskwire to catch it. Good luck!
Rewards: Xorcist and title X!
