Should I watch the One Piece live-action on Netflix?
We’d say that you should watch the Netflix version of One Piece. With the release of the first season of the One Piece live-action series, now you can enjoy the story in a new medium. The live-action covers the first East Blue Saga where Luffy meets Zoro, Sanji, Nami, and Usopp while the major villains make appearances. The series concludes with the crew coming together and the Going Merry reaching Reverse Mountain.
The series aired on August 31, 2023, and garnered great reviews from both critics and fans, who commended the performances, narrative, animation, and overall fidelity to the original material’s characters and events. Several sites have called it one of the best real-life anime adaptations, seeing it as a significant improvement over Netflix’s earlier efforts, including live-action adaptations of Cowboy Bebop or Death Note.
