If you have already hopped on Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, you must have probably noticed the overwhelming amount of collectibles it has, in classic Ubisoft fashion. Treasures are there to be looted all over the world, and it can get quite complicated, especially if this is the first time you have dived into the Golden Age of Piracy. It is best to have every advantage you can when sailing and just generally being a pirate assassin, so in this guide I will cover one of the early chests in the game – The Havana Treasure.
How to Get Havana Treasure Map in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced
Havana is the first city Edward sails to after the incident with Duncan Walpole. As such, this treasure is one of first ways to add a good amount of Reales in your pocket.

You can get to it right after completing the Lively Havana mission. Starting heading to the coordinates 217,571 and you will eventually come across a bridge with a stream of water under it. Jump down to see a skeleton laying there with an armor on. Walk up and loot it to add ‘Treasure Map from Havana x1’ to your codex.
How to Get the Havana Treasure

From the last location, head to the coordinates 213,564. This will take you to the Pirate Camp, where you might need to fight a few guards. You can also deal with them stealthily, but combat is completely overhauled in Black Flag Resynced, so facing them straight on is much more fun. Once they are dealt with, look for a downed palm tree and a skeleton beside it, opposite of which you will get the ‘Dig Up’ prompt. Interact with it to take out the chest and loot it.
This chest will reward you a hefty amount of 3000 Reales early on, allowing you to get early ship upgrades for the Jackdaw (the upgrade loop ends once you get your hands on all 12 Ultimate Plans for the Jackdaw). You will also receive a Design Plan for a figurehead of Blackbeard’s legendary ship, The Queen Anne’s Revenge.
