In true Bethesda RPG fashion, encumbrance is your true enemy in Starfield. And with how meager carry weight characters have early on, it’s a real struggle to manage inventory. This is where all Starfield Trade Authority locations come in, allowing you to sell any kind of loot items and even contrabands.
Although it is relatively easy to get lost in this massive open world while trying to find buyers and sellers to trade with, this guide will help you quickly sell all the junk you have been carrying around. Also, a point of note, wait 24 hours to reset their credits if a certain vendor runs out of it.
Starfield Trade Authority Locations
- The Well (New Atlantis, Jemison) – When visiting the planet Jemison, you need to go to the city of New Atlantis where you will come across the Trade Authority building in The Well area. The location can be accessed by using the MAST District train station elevator and exiting the tunnel with an instant right afterward to encounter the building.
- Cydonia (Mars) – Another Starfield Trade Authority location can be found in the Central Hub of Cydonia when you arrive on the planet Mars. You can get to it easily by going down through the ramp in front and turning right before the other ramp.
(Image via Bethesda) - Neon (Volii Alpha) – Also known as the aquatic planet, Volii Alpha houses yet another Starfield Trade Authority location in the city of Neon which you can find on the left when entering Neon. Yes, this is the most easily accessible Trade Authority.
- Akila City (Akila) – When you get to the planet Akila in the Cheyenne system, you need to go to Akila City where you will find the Trade Authority behind GalBank.
Other than the actual Starfield Trade Authority locations, you can make things easier for you by going to the Trade Authority Kiosks, which are even more easily accessible. Some of the Trade Authority Kiosks can be found in the following locations:
- New Homestead (Titan Planet)
- Landing Pad (New Atlantis, Jemison)
