Thunderstorm Thornblade is one of many creatures that you can meet in Aniimo. It is a variant (another form) of Thornblade that you can only catch under specific circumstances. These conditions might be obvious from its name itself, but even if they are not, do not worry. I have detailed its exact location and the conditions you need to meet to get it to spawn, and what you can get after catching it as well.
Aniimo Thunderstorm Thornblade Spawning Conditions
The regular Thornblade spawns in the Sea of Flowers area. You can search for a Budsquire and evolve it to get Thornblade. However, searching for a Thunderstorm Thornblade is slightly harder. It only spawns in rainy weather, and only one Thunderstorm Thornblade spawns at a time; it does not respawn if defeated and/or caught.
Note: Ensure that you match or exceed the recommended level of a region before you proceed into it. Otherwise, you might get attacked by creatures well out of your league.
Evolution
You can evolve Budsquire into Thornblade under the right circumstances. However, unlike most other creatures, you need to be extra careful with this evolution line, as it also has a second evolution it can perform under the right conditions.
Budsquire -> Level 27 -> Thornblade/Melloblum
- Thornblade Evolution Requirements: Defeat a Thornblade with Budsquire alone in the roster.
- Evolution Cost: Sprout Stone x3
- Melloblum Evolution Requirements: Complete Journey: Flowers and Thorns, and Personality contains Faithful.
- Evolution Cost: Sprout Stone x3, Stamen of Cubbo’s Rose x1
How To Get Thunderstorm Thornblade in Aniimo
The image above marks the exact location of this creature. You can check the weather tab on the map to find out when a thunderstorm is going to happen. Once it does, go to the above-marked location.
Here, you can hide in the nearby vegetation and approach the beast carefully. Once close enough to capture it, try to throw your Aniipod from behind for a higher catch rate.
Alternatively, you can also try to battle it first and catch it once its health is low enough. Either method works.
Rewards For Catching Thunderstorm Thornblade
You get the Pale Thorn if you successfully catch this beast. The in-game description of the item reads as follows:
Serves as proof of victory over the Thunderstorm Thornblade.
