Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has tonnes of collectable outfits, and each is dapperer than the last. The Shade and Shadow Robes are one such outfit that you can collect, but it requires a lot of grinding to unlock. While this outfit doesn’t provide any special perks, it does provide a styling none can match.
If you’re the type to seek a bold black look with blue accenting, this outfit will certainly connect with you. Additionally, Shade and Shadow Robes certainly look cooler to me compared to Edward’s Master Assassin outfit, and I’ll tell you how to get them with this guide.
Guide To Unlock Shade and Shadow Robes in Black Flag Resynced
The Shade and Shadow Robes can only be acquired with restored Treasure Maps, similar to Persian Scimitars & Gargoyle’s Breath. The item can only be received through the Treasure Dealer at Great Inagua. If you don’t have the building unlocked, here’s how you do so:
- Restore the General Store and Tavern buildings.
- Talk to the Treasure Hunter NPC at the docks of Great Inagua.
- Restore the building by paying 5000 Reales to gain access to their services.
In the Restore section of the Treasure Dealer shop, you’ll find a Treasure Map that requires 4 Restored Preserved Map Pieces, 150 Tobacco, and 500 Reales. To acquire Restored Preserved Map Pieces, you’ll have to loot warehouses spread across the map. However, the chances of it dropping completely depend on luck, which is the grinding I was pointing to earlier.
There are 9 warehouse locations, some of which you would have come across as part of the main storyline. In any case, here are the areas and the coordinates.

After acquiring all the requirements, get the mentioned map from the Treasure Dealer. The treasure map will contain a diagram hinting at where the treasure is located. The location is Sacrifice Island, and the coordinates are 14,554. You’ll need the map first, or you won’t be able to acquire the hidden chest. After opening the hidden chest, you’ll have the Shade and Shadow Robes in your inventory.
